Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
This is the Pre-Adamite Age which existed prior to the creation of Adam. This is a period in time when angels had dominion over the earth.
There is no book in the bible specifically dedicated to the origin or fall of Lucifer. The origin and fall of Lucifer are given in various parts of the bible. This includes the time of his reign and fall.
Isaiah gives us a glimpse of his fall.
Isaiah 14:12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Verse 14 reveals that Lucifer was located below the clouds where the earth is located, thus Lucifer was on the earth and had dominion over the earth.
Lucifer’s place after the attempt to conquer Heaven is back on Earth. It was one of his fallen angels – a serpent under orders of Lucifer, who tempted man and regained dominion.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, has God said, You all shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
We do not read about God creating Lucifer or his fallen angels in Genesis. There were already created in the dateless past. Verse 1 reads: “which the Lord God had made.”
The serpent was originally a being that walked on legs. We use the word serpent now to refer to snakes that crawl on the ground.
The original serpent walked like a man and spoke like a man when he spoke to Eve. As a result of his tempting Eve and Adam, he was further cursed
Genesis 3:14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon your belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life:
Ezekiel continues to reveal Lucifer, referring to him as King Tyrus. The earthly King of Tyre was Ithobalus II, however, the supernatural of Tyre was Lucifer, who is referred to in the prophecy of Ezekiel. Further, no earthly king was ever in Eden.
Ezekiel 28:1 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus said the Lord God; Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are a man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God:
Ezekiel 28:11 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus said the Lord God; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 You have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you was created. 14 You are the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so: you was upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 You was perfect in your ways from the day that you was created, till iniquity was found in you. 16 By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.
God quickly defeated Lucifer’s attempt to take control. Jesus is recorded in Luke saying;
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
The world that was prior to Adam as described by Peter.
2 Peter 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Peter is not writing about the Noah flood which only lasted for a relatively short period. He is revealing the original flood which lasted for an unknown time. This is why he says time is of measure to God. The dateless pass could have been billions of years.
Moses makes it clear that some things belong exclusively to God. He gives us what we need to know.
Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Nevertheless, we must acknowledge what God reveals to us in scripture.
It is during this unknown period of time, we can explain the dinosaurs, pre-adamite beings that resemble men, and various animals which are not specifically described past Genesis 1:3. In fact, there are creatures currently on the earth and beneath the seas that mankind has not seen nor discovered.
Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
The word “And” is significant in the works of God in Genesis. It is often used to separate recorded independent Acts of God. It is used in Verse 2 to separate the re-creative Acts of God from the original Acts of God in creating Heaven and the Earth.
To combine verse 1 and verse 2 would mean that God created the earth with form and or function. There is nothing in creation created by God without form and function. God has never made anything that is originally void.
Even God’s word shall never be void.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that go forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
“And the earth was”: Was is used for the Hebrew word Hayah which really means “Became.”
We find the Hebrew word Hayah in Genesis 2:7
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The earth was not created void, without form or wasted.
Isaiah 45:18 For thus said the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.
Earth without form can’t be inhabited. The earth was formed and inhabited until the Lucifer Flood made the earth wasted and covered in water.
“Darkness was upon the face of the deep.” Darkness is always a result of judgment.
Exodus 10:21 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
Joel 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.
Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which has power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
There was no judgment upon the face of the earth when God originally created it. It was complete and with form.
God spoke about his original creation of the Earth.
Job 38:1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 2 Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? 3 Gird up now your loins like a man; for I will demand of you, and answer you me. 4 Where was you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you have understanding. 5 Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who has stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
God made the earth and it was inhabited. Everything God makes is originally perfect because He is perfect.
Psalms 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made every thing beautiful in his time: also he has set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end.
“And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” This began the recreation of earth.
The Spirit of God “Moved” – the Hebrew word is “Rachaph,” which means to flutter and shake. We find the word Rachaph or Shake in Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 23:9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of the Lord, and because of the words of his holiness.
The Spirit of God shock the flooded earth and thus began the re-creation of a formed and functional earth.
The difference between the Lucifer Flood and the Noah Flood.
The first flood – Lucifer’s Flood – was more devastating and lasted for an unknown time period. Noah’s flood lasted 382 days from the beginning until Noah step out onto Mount Ararat.
After Lucifer’s Flood
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
After Noah’s Flood
Genesis 9:19 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Replenish means to make full or complete again, as by supplying what is lacking.
When Adam and Eve were created, the earth was without men or women. And, with Noah and his wife, and three sons and their wives, the earth was without other men or women. There were two separate floods at two different times. Both because of rebellion.
Lucifer’s flood was a result of Lucifer and his angels trying to take over Heaven and replace God.
Noah’s flood was a result of Lucifer’s angels’ defiling women born of men and as all of humanity became rebellious.
Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them.
